Musical collection

The Musical Fund, produced by the documentation of the Capella de Música del Pi (Music Chapel of the Pi), founded around the 16th Century, preserves numerous musical documents of important authors, especially of the 17th and 18th Centuries. Among this documentation is preserved the original manuscript of the Ball de l’Àliga de la Ciutat de Barcelona (Eagle Dance of the City of Barcelona) from 1756 that preceptively accompanies the protocols of the festive bestiary of the City of the Counts.
